I don't know when this devolved into a companion-fest . . . but I fell in love with the result. This song is from my FAVORITE commercial on television. You'd think that the Discovery channel would be depressing, what with all the science involved (and there's nothing science likes more than telling us how doomed we are . . . BELIEVE IT! It's a GRAND CONSPIRACY!!!! ^_^) but it's so . . . optimistic and wonderful! I smile every time! I hope this vid brings you guys a bit of joy, too . . .

(And, I know the companion list is up for debate-- just accept that this is MY defined list, ok? If it doesn't mesh with yours, I don't need a shit-ton of irate comments about it, ai'ght? Just . . . enjoy the places we overlap, ok? Pretty please? ^_^

This is my favorite version anyone has ever made of this idea solely because you actually put Pyramids of Mars to the Egyptian kings bit and then you surprise me with Planet of the Spiders instead of the Racnoss (which is cool, but your choice is a nice alternative).

No complaints about Sara Kingdom, etc., but I've always been willing to give Brigadier Lethbridge-Stewart "companion" status. He certainly deserves it more than Astrid Peth, imho.

I agree-- I kind of made "companion" status based on intent-- Brig made it, Astrid made it, but . . . Lynda was it? From "The Parting of the Ways?" anyway-- she didn't. (Let's face it-- Astrid was one of those gray areas where I think she did enough on her own to justify companion status-- it's arguable, but leaving her out just felt wrong.) ANYWAY, I'm really glad you liked the vid!!

This is bloody AWESOME especially that bit at the end with three that made me LOL. The *ONLY* problem I have with your companion list is... JACKIE TYLER WTF???? Uh, NO. No, no, no, no, no. There's is a VAST differnce between companion and recurring nuisance. Sabalom GLITZ is a companion if JACKIE is. *BLEARGH* Adam is highly debatable, too... but I'll let him in looooooong before I'll let Jackie in.
