It seems she simply fluffs her lyrics and loses her place in the song, I'm not sure there's anything more serious reason behind it. She wasn't feeling it and so she quit.

Nico was a genius, but her band was not good enough for her. She said herself that she learned to play the harmonium because "guitarists are not reliable" and she was most certainly right about that!
