Highschool is so much worse than this... you have to add all the constant violence and the petty insults ALWAYS being disrespectfully used such as "Faggot, Nigger, Queer" etc. even when your none of those things.

@soccer7539518246 ....yeah my highschool wasn't anything like how tv shows make it out to be. There was drama..but not actual bullying like they have now. And I come from a small town about 4000 people. Like...I'm pretty sure that every single kid at my school had at least one friend, for sure.

@KDLAKAKMAK At this time (1999-2000) 2.5 was the average number of kids an American family had. Sort of an update from the nuclear family of mom & dad and their two kids. Not sure if that's still the average number. Carmen was basically just saying she wants to have a normal life in the future, outside of high school hell :)

@Hillybilly6555321 A more understanding term would be "binge eaters" or "compulsive overeaters." These are real eating disorders and it's nice to see them being treated with the same gravity that is normally only given to more conventionally talked about EDs, like Brooke's anorexia. Carmen has a disorder which is very common but you hardly ever see treated with this much respect, usually they are played for jokes. This girl isn't a joke, or a lunatic, she's a young woman honestly struggling.

It's sad how people who feel left out in highschool want to become friends with people who are arrogant, ignorant, and fake. I'd much rather be friends with real individuals who fight against people who use others, even if they're not in the "in" crowd.
