This Dylan imitation seems silly and forced; I haven't paid much attention to Springsteen since the late '80s--has his voice really changed like this, or is it affected? I would have thought he wanted to minimize the Dylan comparisons over the years, not force them.
Get the 30th anniversay package commemorating the release of "Born to Run." He does a version of "For You," alone, on piano, that is so great he could be channeling God.
In fact, I think that version is on Youtube somewhere. Try "springsteen" & "for you."
He also does an awesome version of Incident on 57th Street.
You must know he has toured twice alone. On the Devils & Dust tour in 2005 he played many instruments, plus a lot of piano. He's a great arranger.
