CS Percussion - My Soul Longs for You (Cover) - New Cajon Technique

This is the first of my alternative cajon technique music videos. The hope is to show how you can play a full band, but still keep the sound under control with not playing with a full kit. Great for small churches or even coffee shops where they would not allow you to put a full kit.

This song is a Misty Edwards cover and Forerunner music holds all rights to this song. This is not an attempt to make this our own, but only to give help worship leaders and percussionists that want to do more, but do not have the space or ability. My hope is that all of you that love this song would go out and purchase Misty's album on iTunes. I contacted Forerunner for permission to use the song, however I only got a verbal OK from the person I talked too. I would have preferred a written OK:) I hope this is enough:)

Thats not a standard brush is it? Talk about what your using for "brushes" on the cajun.

Also, bunch of us praise and worship guys hand out on developingworshipdotcom I think you might like it. Need more praise and worship drummers. Too many Guitar players giving advice on percussion issues :-) Check it out. thanks for posting your video. Sounds good.
