continued- Pol Pot was a stain worse than Hitler because he did it to his OWN PEOPLE! I have a g/f in Fresno California and attended a few classes at CSU Fresno. Many great Cambodian people live there. A Christian group that I'm involved with has outreaches in Cambodia and has done much fine work, building medical clinics, churches and feeding programs. The few Cambodians that I've met are good, family oriented people. What happened in the late 70's was a tragedy that they didn't deserve.

Cambodian people suffered horribly under Pol Pot. I remember the 70's very well and have friends my age who served in Nam. One of my best friends served 3 tours in the war. Once USA left we wanted to "wash our hands" of the whole mess but actually got involved, even allying with former enemies to help Cambodia.
