The design of this lift is very different from typical Mitsubishi models of the 1960s. It adopts a European style design, with manual outer door and automatic inner door. This design is usually only found in OTIS, Schindler and Sabiem elevator products in Hong Kong.
The outside floor indicator is actually a very antique design used in Japanese lift products. A Hitachi model of the same era used in a few demolished government rental apartment blocks also utilized this outside floor indicator design. The call button and the inside floor buttons, which also act as the floor indicator, are on the other hand typical of Mitsubishi.
The ceiling ventilation fan is switched off in the middle of the video. Hence you can clearly hear the sound of the top propulsion motor when stopping at and starting up from the top floor.

機外樓層顯示器其實是日本升降機產品所用的一個非常之古典的設計:在一部份已拆卸的政府出租單位樓宇內使用的一款日立同期型號,亦有採用此機外樓層顯示器設計。啟動按掣及同時充當樓層顯示器的機內樓層按鈕卻是典型的三菱。
吸頂式抽氣風扇在片段的中間被關上,故你可在停靠最頂層及由該處起動時,清楚聽到頂置式驅動機芯的聲音。
