Osiris Euro Tour 1999

I use to work for Osiris Shoes. This was a video part i filmed on the first European tour the company had ever taken. We spent a month traveling through 8 countries in 4 vans while in the final months of filming 'The Storm'. It was one of the best times I have ever had, the crew was so amazing. I had the chance to work with skaters I was huge fans of. I was so nervous at the first demo of 3000 kids that i droped my camera. It was that big to me.

I would like to thank Dave Mayhew, Peter Smolik, Kanten Russell and Chad Knight for making this still one of the best trips ever for me. The section was released in Progression Skate Video Magazine #1, a magazine I use to run.

The release date was September 1999 for this segment.

Peter still is killing it all around. He will have a part in the next transworld video. I can't wait to see it.

Dave just skates from what I know, I don't know his sponsor status now. And for his shop, it is called Alumni, aftermath was what they called the Osiris tours back in the day.

Peter still skates a ton. I saw him in September at ASR and talked for awhile with him. His company, Skate Mafia, was just picked up by Blitz Distribution so look for more products coming soon. Also look out for the Skate Mafia/Sushi Wheels video that was released about 2 years ago. He had so much footage in it that he had a full part and stuff through out the video.

@whatyouknowbout DUUUDDDDEEE I started skating in 98' and I watched all the Osiris stuff, I watched The Storm every day before I went skating and every night when I got home. so sick, thanks for uploading this video, I quit skating for a couple years, and just started getting back into it. so nice to see some O.G. Osiris footage
