I cut the felt just about the same size as the die itself... about 5 x 5 1/2 inches. tfw

Oh these are so cute. I wonder if you could also make them without a sizzix die cut? I don't have a sizzix, I'll have to try cutting the spiral out by hand.

You can definitely make these by hand... that's how I used to make them before I got the sizzix die... the die just makes it so much easier. thanks for watching!
