Very interesting developments going on in the UAE! It is so impressive that within 30+ years, the Emirates have created a highly advanced society rivaling and surpassing that of any Western country. The rest of the world should take note and follow their excellent example. More importantly, the Sultan had the foresight to recognize that educating women is extremely important to creating an advanced society. Does anyone know if other Middle-Eastern countries are following this model?

It was one of the main trades! infact it was one of the backbones of the economy then... the pearl trade!

The Emiris were known for their speciality in diving for pearls & open sea navigation & ship building!

The discovery of artificial pearls by the Japanese(I guess) was a killer blow to the economy of the Eastern Coast of the Arabian Peninsula, which was dependant mainly on pearls.

JUST ONE THING FOR KNOWLEDGE THE AMERICANS NEVER LANDED ON THE MOON! watch FOX tv documentary on the fake lunar landing! There is also a good documentary aired by Canadian television CBC where Donald Rumsfeld appears and acknowledges that the moon landing was a FAKE !!
