An unsung British classic that might have been overshadowed by The Exorcist at the time, but a very frightening film all the same with a strong cast and a ghost loosely based on Aleister Crowley.

I'm looking for a British horror movie with Roddy McDowall in it called Arnold. Anyone ever hear of it? His brother's dead, but a Stella Stevens marries the corpse and...well...anyone heard of it?

I wholeheartedly agree, Hellhouse is a well done movie.

The film is not at all over-rated -- it is superb. The cast is magnificent. Clive Revill was the original Fagan in the Broadway musical "Oliver!," and Pamela Franklin portray'd ye wee girl in the film THE INNOCENTS. Yes -- this film has moments of over-acting (to put it mildly) and at times borders on camp -- but it is also extremely effective & evokes moments of genuine terror.

Can you upload the movie?

I just finished the book. THAT was good. This movie suffers from the time it was made in. Someone should really remake it...

Classy, no one can write horror better than Richard matheson!
Roddy McDowell stole the show in this film.0:20 to 0:34 is the best scene for me. He makes everything much more atmospheric. Oh yeah, Pamela Franklin's hot!
