Ipso Facto & Magazine : Live at The Forum : 13 February 2009

In February 2009 Ipso Facto joined the newly re-formed post-punk pioneers Magazine on a five date tour of the UK.

As well as playing their own support set, Ipso Facto vocalist/guitarist Rosalie Cunningham and bass player Samantha Valentine joined Magazine on stage to perform additional vocals on several songs.

The songs included here are:

Ipso Facto Six and Three Quarters
Magazine (with Rosalie Cunningham) The Honeymoon Killers
Magazine (with Rosalie Cunningham & Samantha Valentine) This Poison

Six and Three Quarters was released on Mute on 20 October 2008 and is also available to download.

The official DVD/CD of the Magazine reunion shows is available now from www.wire-sound.com.
The DVD was filmed at the Manchester Academy;
the CD was recorded at the London Forum (the show featured in this video). Highly recommended!

Thanks. There's a lot of luck involved. Getting a good view of the stage helps, obviously, and knowing the songs - so you know when to zoom in on who etc.

Plus, if I'm not happy with a clip, I don't upload it - so you only get to see the good stuff. Some of my older clips are a bit substandard technically (e.g. Shane McGowan & Jarvis singing Disney), but I uploaded them anyway as they were unique performances that could not be seen elsewhere.

Great footage. Saw Magazine in Oxford and the were awesome, there was no support but the two IF girls sang backing on a few songs.
