Somehow, at a goodbye party for Ian, a beloved co-worker, I ended up butchering this song. I'd intended to sing something else, but...so, I don't know who I should be seeking forgiveness from, Hayes Carll (who did the original) or Jesus. Of course the song satirizes ignorance, not religion, so don't take it too seriously--also, don't worry about my swollen legs, I'm recovering from knee replacement surgery and by the end of the day, it looks like Elephantitus is setting in.
