@cracksmackinator3000 I am hardly a tree hugger... but in case you hadn't noticed the world is already in chaos, and most of it is 'wars' to secure the oil in the Middle East. Besides oil/fuel costs are so HIGH right now, when there is in reality a GLUT of oil... that people are loosing jobs and homes because energy costs are too high, and China has a better offer for corporations. Even Apollo 'hero' Buzz Aldrin is working with the Chinese on anti gravity tech :D

So happens I am a Canadian citizen... but your kind... you are a fossil... if oil was stopped tomorrow, the world would survive. A bit of hardship to be sure.. but change always has a price. As to the car, try looking up Shell Oil Hydrogen... they are running buses with it all over the world. And the US military is switching to synthetic oil. Last I heard they are already at 50%

@standauffishI don't get these tree huggers they want the oil industry to shut down and with that comes massive unemployment and the world would be chaos, no transportation. Now i understand your tiny car runs on hydrogen but try to get a plane or semi to run on that. The world needs oil without it many people would die.

@standauffish Times have changed, the environmental regulations are more strict at least in Canada. The oil companies have to put down a deposit before the well is drilled to reclaim the disturbed area. You sound like a close minded old school dummy. Now i'm not sure how the yankees do it but i'm sure its not much different then Canada.

@TWBradshaw No we are only dependent on oil because the oil companies want you to be under there control. We could have replaced that fuel YEARS ago, but the greedy oil barons suppress any new tech, even kill inventors or make them 'disappear' Public transit in many countries already uses Hydrogen.. problem is its companies like Shell Oil that are working to control that industry as well. Exhaust from burning hydrogen is WATER... and water can be split back into hydrogen... never run out... EVER

Just drive around any oil producing area... miles and miles of WASTELAND in California with old iron equipment just tossed about..... Not even a weed grows for miles.
