his phrasing and melodies are great especially the legatto sounding work in this track, but those must be new guitar strings if he's slgihtly out of tune which happens ot the best of us. That being said I've scalloped a ton of guitar necks, either he left some of the bright looking wood on the fretboard there intentionally or he didn't bother sanding it, regardless as long as there's zero friction a scallop works even though people treat it like an art form.

@CIngstrup yeah thats the same Lloyd Grant, anyone else notice his fretboard is scalloped, Kirk Hammet is doing it on his metallic green ESP now.. but as far as im concerned there's no wrong way to scallop a fretboard as long as it works and everything survives.
