Guys what style is this? I went to a Muay Thai club for about a month or so and it was nothing like this

I think it's the old muay thay/muay boran style... it's very similar to shaolin kung fu

muay thai is from thailand, it was first inveted by monks, but is now exreemly popular....some call it the art of the 8 lims

@dragonasXII Yes, 12 to be exact. There are four major ones and three are still around but they are not widely taught. Muay Thai Chaiya is actually the most widely taught one. Thasao and Korat are almost not taught. Lopburi is pretty much gone :(

@meekaown muay thai is a watered down version of muay boran, which u are seeing in the video, muay boran was used by the thai army with a mixture of krabi krabong (the martial arts that included the thai weapons) muay thai and muay boran is also called the art of eight limbs by some people because you're using you're fists, feet, knees, elbows, etc. its very brutal and deadly in its muay boran form, but muay thai is more of a sport but muay thai is still dangerous

@GusDudez As said in the video, the teacher's style of Muay Thai Chaiya, witch is one of the old styles that were combined to form muay boran.

There were four different old styles that were combined to form muay boran.

I'm learning muay boran here in Finland.
