@prossiebecker The reason he looked pale on stage in On Tour was the film they used. It wasn't so bad with those in the background, but with the spotlights on Elvis' face it made him look blue/grey. The film was blue-based. Kathy Westmoreland speaks of how bad they all looked. She also says that the camera angles... shot from too low down... made everyone look like they were "being reflected in door handles". She was there, so I guess she'd know more than any of us...

There will NEVER be another performer like Elvis. He was truly one of a kind.

The fantastic ending is from 1971 i think, where he stil was full of energy and really enjoying performing live and looking trim and lean. In 'Elvis on Tour' i was shocked at how bloated he often looked (especially his face) and pale and tired. Still some great performances in thas movie but it was the beginning of the end. He was in shape again for the Madison Square Garden concerts again, really a shame they never fimed these concerts.
is it just me or is it impossible to stop watching, this is the coolest thing i ever saw...... , the best their ever be.
