@009607 idiocy.. and just because you can't understand the words doesn't mean they are inhales, simply means they are distorting their voices more or speaking a little wrong with pronounciation. or if it's multiple tones in a vocal it's too brutal for your shallow ears to understand. i can understand the vocals to most of the songs in my thing except torsofuck. i'll give examples of inhales. IWRESTLEDABEARONCE do pure inhale screams. look up screamo idol rejected those are pure inhales.

@009607 and one more thing. in the gore sings i have "slamming brutal deathmetal, brutal deathmetal grindcore or goregrind" they don't inhale they 'CUP THE MIC' giving it a weird sound weakening the vocal but giving it a deeper sound. i hate that of them but they have awesome slamms and some brutal vocals so i'm happy. and torsofuck cup mic not inhale. well. hope i taught you something. if not go on some random putrid pile video call them inhales and get massacred with hate messages for your

@009607 and the internet knows nothing about deathmetal because no deathmetal or grind people like the internet.. thats why you find full of shit answers on these subjects made by "scene kids" who try to sound like they know somethng. anyways check out the song i said before and god forgives i don't by i killed everyone, tell me those are inhales you can hear the power in their vocals because of this overtone. something suicide silence lacks most of the time because they don't push out much air.

@009607 seems research doesn't help you at all. as i said i practice vocals all the time.. and i found out that "overtone" means exhale (overtone created by the wind guzzling out of your mouth adding strength to vocals and adding a deeper sound) some of my bands do inhale (Katalepsy does some inhales in their older songs and in their pigsqueals) overtone is that sort of deep gutturalish noise in all vocals listen to the song manifest destiny will be the death of me by the last ten seconds of lif

@009607 because most research on any site you will find is full of shit. or from idiotic morons who just found out about deathmetal and think they know everything to know about it. listen, enjoy, learn. and maybe try doing them yourself. and before making a how to scream video. don't practice for 4 weeks and make a video thinking you got good videos when you inhale or whisper or choke on your vocals, because then you will look like all the other scene kids, with little knowledge.
