  • @minnowmaster209 i live in america in baltimore maryland. most of the fish in winter usually stop eating or disappear from the area i fish in. this video makes me want to go out and try but im just setting myself up for disappointment.

  • A star in the making . And a cracking perch to boot . Nice one ;)

  • Very impressed with the quality of your video! The fishing and the tuition from such a young ambassador in the sport i found inspirational. I will be heading out this weekend for a spot of roach fishing. Visit my channel WebSpinnerIan and friend me on facebook Ian Andrew Cooper.

  • That's a nice Perch...I had one at 5lb 1oz back in October, which was featured in Angling Times.

A question about your feeder pot...as you're only feeding about 2/3 maggots and some chopped up maggots..why not use one of the Fox Tosspot Feed pots which slide on to your top section?

Good attitude to winter fishing, I just think you have to lower your expectations as to how many you'll catch, but you do get better quality fish..Perch for example.. you may have to work harder but it's worth it.

  • Top video young chap!

  • that is a mans fish

  • oh my gosh that was absolutely hench!

  • i love roach fishing every time i go to the canal i only catch roach never perch i think its my methods of fishin but i just love seeing a pole float go down

  • awsome perch dude, over in australia we just call them redfin and theyre everywhere although ones that size arn't so easily caught. Any Idea how long he measured??...my biggest is 39cm and my dads was 42cm.

  • I think it was good that you caught the big perch early on..it was probably hunting the smaller fish and scaring them away so if you hadn't caught it you may not have caught the smaller ones.

Nice Perch anyway..I caught 1@4lb, which chased a Gudgeon I caught, and 1@5lb on a Spinner... last October..I love the big 'uns
