This video is a compilation of scenes from "King of the Rocketmen" (1949), "Radar Men from the Moon" (1952), and "Zombies of the Stratosphere" (1952). Leonard Nimoy, Star Trek's Mr. Spock, appears briefly as one of the evil martians. The robot Rocketman fights was later seen in a "Capt. Proton" episode of "Star Trek Voyager." You'd think after 59 years we'd have rocket suits like those.

Germans made one during world war 2 although we don't know if anyone actually used it. No American flyer was willing to risk life on it. They tested it on a teether could go up 60 meters.Gary Burdett and Alexander Bohr also made one that could go up 7 meters and reach speed of 45 to 50 km/hr. Early ones operated about 30 seconds or less more recent one about 9 minutes.

I used to love watching this show on Saturday morning tv, it always finished on a cliff hanger and made you wait a whole week to find out what happened. Amazing special effects for it's day!
