I personally don't think this song is about being "loose" or not. It's about loving yourself, whether you are comfortable in jeans OR a short skirt. I just think that the idea that this is about sex or being "slutty" takes away from the true purpose which is something more important, how someone views themselves. "Loose" sounds like a word that someone would use years ago when describing an independent woman so I guess that is why I felt like it was negative. That's just my thoughts. No hate. (:
