@tennispenguin it was not the horse or the parents it can happen to anyone anytime. and there was nothing wrong with the horse he had a freak accident so what. my friends horse bolts on me almost every week. R.I.P JESSICA.

This is so tragic, that poor beautiful girl, there is however a hard lesson here, and the parents are responsible, This horse had a bolting problem yet this girl was allowed to keep it? Kids are not invincible just because they bounce 100 times before doesn't mean they will keep bouncing, and it's is the parent's job to minimize the risks best they can without robbing her of her dreams, plenty horses have no dangerous behavioral issues, and certainly a teen should not be jumping ALONE bareback
