@FugitiveVette bro. without griffin baylor would have 8-9 losses. Stanford still be a winning team without luck. Ive been at every Baylor game this yr and Griffin literally carried the team on his back. Trust me i love stanford(went to every game from age 6 to age 18 and the ND game this yr) but you can't take the credit away from Griffin. He passed for 750 more yards, had a better completion percentage, 3 fewer INTs, & ran for 400 yards more. While Toby did get screwed, you cant deny Grif this.

@FugitiveVette Totally agree. I think a lot of it has to do with ESPN. ESPN is so obviously biased toward the SEC and they are a de facto source of sports news that they influence the voting. I don't have a lot of problems with Luck losing to Griffin or even Ball. I would have had problems if Luck lost to Richardson. Gerhart should have won, flat out. He had a better year than Ingram.

Stanford alumn who thought A. Luck should have won it, but RGIII was also a very gracious winner and well spoken - obviously he went to class! It's about time the trust gets the trophy to someone living up to the mission statement!

I was impressed with Andrew tonight. He handled the announcement and interviews with amazing poise and humility. He will no doubt be a stud in the NFL.

I just don't get it. They say Griffin won because of stats. Well in 09 Toby had all the stats and then some... The reason why he lost, Stanford lost too many games. Fast forward to 2011 and Griffin wins the statue with 3 losses. Luck and Stanford 1 loss to a great team. I think it's East Coast Bias. Pretty soon, Revenge of the Nerds!!!
