Some footage from Test Drive 5 (PS1 version).

Clearly, this was not one of the best races that I've had...

  • 4th place? lmao!!!

  • @nfsYT It's Test Drive 5, the most unfair and lucky-based game on PS1. This kind of stuff will happen to everyone. You have to be god in order to win every single time in this game.

Well, it's still much better game than Need For Speed.

  • @CrocodileFunkee need for speed copy alot of games including test drive....

  • @coolgames14 yes, and your point was?

  • @CrocodileFunkee Is Test Drive 5 a PS1 Exclusive?

  • @coolgames14

    true

  • @CrocodileFunkee

ACTUALLY, ahe-hem, it's NOT luck. the AI is on something called RUBBER-BAND physics. basically they're magnetized to your car. i've found out how the psx series all uses rubber band, and now i get first place EVERY TIME. no joke. not to mention the high scores. from the looks of youtube, the programmers outsmarted the gamers with test drive. i still play the three last games for psx, they're quite immersive.

  • @Pablosuper90 I agree. Youre definitely right

  • You are not right. In this game you have to control your actual rpm before taking a corner (its better to reduce gear) use your throttle carefully and not all the time like in all those shitty need for speed games. This guy also forgot to use cornering technique (i thought that ereryone know it after playing gran turismo series).

    Generally its a great game

  • @CrocodileFunkee some minutes ago i was thinking of comparing NFS series with TD series, in the very beginning in the 90s, both were very cool, but there are 3 facts:

    1. TD games stopped in 2002 with Overdrive (without counting U1 and U2 as they destroyed TD's roots).

    2. NFS continued until now with The Run (2011), but that doesn't make NFS better than TD.

    3. You ask gamers around the world which series are better and 90% say "NFS rocks, TD sucks" JUST because NFS continued producing games.

  • @CrocodileFunkee it copy
