  • that's what happens when you get a classical sax player to play a jazz ballad! maybe it doesn't have to be the same as the film, but I don't think it captured the nightlife of new york or the sleaze at all. Sounded like a schoolboy playing it! It was nice seeing the orchestra play the music though. Thanks for the post.

  • Wow, this is an excellent performance, but the sax player's sound is too smooth jazzy. This piece needs to be played more in the style of a bebop ballad.

  • Incredible

  • Wow, i love this music score 'Night Piece'. John Harle done a good job on the Sax. I saw this on BBC3, the BBC Phiharmonic Orchestra were amazing and played all my favourite scores. I would love to have this on CD with Robert Ziegler conducting.

  • The saxophonist sucks. No soul in what he plays. Bring back the one who played on the original recording, that one was beautiful

  • A hard piece to conduct and keep the orchestra together. Good job

  • 3:24 Ed Helms!

  • i love you.

  • Thanks for uploading this. I watched it on iPlayer but then it disappeared
