I really don't get why people were all up and arms about this. He never actually spat on his military service, he just said that doesn't actually necessarily qualify one to be president.

Umm many people have also died in the name of Atheism. And I actually laugh at your denial of this, but as I always say, ignorance is bliss.

"in the name of Atheism"?

Absolute nonsense. The wars that were waged that did not have any religious overtones were not waged because of Atheism. They were waged because of ideologies or were pure powergrabs

So because he proclaimed to be one thing, other people were believe in that should be condemned? Should all Muslims be condemned because o people like Osama? Hitler led to the deaths of millions of Jews (as well as other minority groups), because he hated them, not because he said publicly that he liked Christianity (even though in private, he said he despised it). I tell you your own advice: Learn to read next time ;).
Ignorance is bliss =).

Actually, Hitler is considered Atheist, you should actually research what he said in private.

Actually Hitler even considered himself a Muslim once upon a time.

Bullshit.
First: Hitler's private beliefs are irrelevant, he publicly proclaimed to be a Christian because otherwise he would not have been so powerfull
Second: I said his Waffen SS were "christians" so your comment is completely besides the point.

Yeah, but his resume contains one very important item that no republican has: "Not a dangerous psychopath, complete idiot, religious fanatic, utter hypocrite, corrupt scumbag, or pure fucking evil." That alone would be enough to qualify him after the past eight years. But as others have mentioned, there is the whole "highly effective senator, constitutional scholar, massively successful campaigner" aspect. He beat the Clintons and if there is a just and loving god he'll beat the republicans.

No buddy. It's not being a community activist that qualifies Obama. It's being top of his class at the best school in the entire nation. It's being a scholar of the law of the Constitution of the United States. And it's about him being ready for what Wesley Clark considers the actual role of the presidentm our country's top diplomat. Oh, and John McCain, brave as he might be, is a mental midget next to Obama. That was Clark's point.

Made your point but sticking in Fidel Castro and Che Guevara under genocide makes it look ignorant.
