First pull on the dyno with the new motor....fell short from expected numbers, running way lean, needs a lot of tuning.

  • whats the Color >>???

  • What's that color on the car? Very nice Stang, my man!

  • I think i just nutted myself.

  • Fuck man I love this car

  • is this carb or fuel injected?

  • My number were low because the engine was just built about ten dats before the run and no time to tune the engine properly. Since that last run I have taken the car to a friends house with a dyno jet and squeezed out 30 more Horsepower just by jetting the secondaries down two sizes and setting timing another 20 horsepower gain so now iam siting at 330 RWHP.

  • @djarizona Just curious, did you ever find out why your numbers were so low for your combo? I made 336whp/391wtq (~380hp/450tq) with edelbrock performer heads, e303, gt40 u/l, and 65mm tb.. I just installed a TFS stage 3 cam (236 248dur .574/.595), and have an 80mm Holley TB which I'm waiting till I get my Victor intake to install, I plan on being 370-385whp range.. Your set up seems about 65whp lower than what I would guess it'd make.

  • @Goldiney P.S. 430 ft/lbs of torque

  • 303 RWHP from a 347 isn't bad ... especially if the car is supposed to be a daily driver. I wouldn't be too dissapointed. I have a 347 myself pulling around 305 RWHP ... daily driver, 18 MPG. Never overheats. Remember there is that line that you unfortunately have to cross if you want a lot of HP from an old car ... it slowly stops becoming a daily driver and becomes a racer.

  • 303hp.. 339tq.. What does that actually equate to at the crank? Just curious...
