Chomsky on Faith-based Wars and 9/11

Noam Chomsky spoke out about 9/11 on Iranian TV in November 2010, saying the US had no evidence that al Qaeda had done the 9/11 attacks. He pointed out discrepancies between the declared reason for the invasion of Afghanistan and the actual performance of the war. The video shows that the Taliban and al Qaeda figures alleged by the USA to be the perpetrators of 9/11 were allowed to escape without interference from the US military.

In 2005 CIA head Porter Goss told TIME magazine "I have an excellent idea of where [Osama bin Laden] is" but they're not going after him.

Note that Dr. Chomsky had made a similar statement years earlier, saying that the US provided had no evidence that Osama was guilty, probably because they didn't have any, and that the threat to continue bombing until Afghanistan changed its political leadership constituted an act that fit the textbook definition of terrorism. Each time I hear this guy talk, I am reminded of one of my old professors. Smart, well paid, respected, and dumb as a box of rocks about every other subject. BUT HE SOUNDS SMART! It was all about cultivating his ego as an intellectual and an expert.

We all heard the news Nov 2001. Some Rep spilled top-secret intel as to how we knew it was Osama and Al Qaeda.

Chompski must not have been listening. No one should listen to him either.

@Goohuman I looked it up. The incident is alleged to have happened in 1998, so it had nothing to do with showing that al Qaeda did 9/11. WaPo says the whole story is just an urban legend anyway. See 12/22/05 "File the Bin Laden Phone Leak Under 'Urban Myths'". Ask a truther if you want truth.

A woman at HUD buffalo had spoken out to the fbi about they being lazy in 1993 and that investigations had begun in 1990 there and about churches of family members of other HUD employee..me...the one they now state they think Hitler referenced in one of his rise to power videos- he talks for quite awhile. Lancaster NY Library had a copy of it in its computer.

They had called in the fbi to preserve life and they had not intervened where any people could see them. Agent'swife WntOnRel TV.

Every instructor has an agenda b/c they work for an institution. No, they don't teach people anything in school these days; except to obey their propaganda and not experiment or investigate for yourself. Obviously...they taught you how to obey. Ask a teacher? @punxsutawneybarney I found it online in the Chicago Trib from Sept 14, 2001. I saw it personally on TV a bit later. It was Sen Hatch and he leaked EXTREMELY key info several times. This used to be all over the web. It looks like its either old news and web pages are being removed or it had been scrubbed some time ago. Either way, it bothers me that such an important story has been forgotten.

I found other reports, like that one in 98. Not the same.
