  • 9mm = more bullets and the 40= more fire power. basically they are both great guns and you can't go wrong with either.

  • Bought the 9mm version, just waiting to pick it up!

  • After all the videos and reviews I had to have one. I am picking up my XDM 45 SS on Friday ! I now have HK P30 L, Walter PPQ, Kimber Eclipse Custom II and the new arrival. Good job !

  • I have a 9mm XDm, and is a head turner when I go to a shooting range, very few complains so far.

  • I'm curious just how much accuracy is lost going with the shorter barrel? I don't expect it to shot as well as a long barrel but am curious just how much you lose.

  • @TomZentra The 9mm has more firepower with a 20 round capacity, but the .40 has more power, with just 3 less rounds. 135 grains at 1300 FPS, or some of that Georgia Arms +p+ .40, 165 grains at 1300 FPS. I see that as a major step up from the 9mm. Georgia Arms sells 1,000 rounds of .40 for 260$ which is just 20$ more than 1,000 rounds of 9.

  • just bought mine picking it up next wen

  • Is the 4.5 inch barrel more accurate than the 3.8 inch barrel?

I would say yes without shooting them.

I am trying to decide which gun to purchase.

  • OUTSTANDING SHOOTING. I have the same questions as TomZentra. Do I get the 9 or the .40 and just to make it more complicated, I hear their is now a .45

Question: Is the rear sight adjustable?

  • @astonisher1 I couldn't resist, so I bought both calibers!!!

  • @TomZentra go with the 40
