Documentation of the "Early Warning, Early Action Game designed by Parsons The New School for Design's PETLab [http://petlab.parsons.edu], for a Red Cross workshop in St. Louis, Senegal.

Near the mouth of the Senegal River, Doune Baba Dieye residents are experiencing more frequent and severe floods. These extreme events are predictable - but they had never learned about modern forecasts, or met the scientists that make the predictions that could save their lives. The Red Cross is finding new ways to turn predictions into decisions. This short film shows one innovative approach to dialogue: a game to help turn knowledge into action.

As of January 2012, the village of Doune Baba Dieye has been overtaken by the sea, and no longer exists.
