The Old City of Jerusalem Part three of three

This part of the walk in the Old City of Jerusalem includes part of the Jewish Quarter including the Western Wall (Wailing Wall).
From the wall we get a wonderful panorama over the Dome of the Rock and Al Aqsa mosque before leaving the city to walk around the walls to the church which houses the tomb of Mary and Joseph, the parents of Jesus. From there we head up the hill to the Mount of Olives which will come as a major disappointment to anyone who has never seen it before. We can see the Golden Gate where Jesus reputedly entered Jerusalem and from where the Messiah will enter or re-enter Jerusalem. However the gate is blocked up at present and so the Messiah will have to give some advance warning, remembering of course that on the Sabbath no-one works, so Messiah, if you are reading this do please make the appropriate allowances.

On the subject of which I would also like to recommend to the Messiah that he takes the flight timetables handed out by Polish Airlines Lot and Israeli Airlines El Al with a pinch of salt.

Praise God! No He won't have any problem entering that or any "Gate", He is The Almighty God. The original Temple in Christ's day was so much bigger and so much more awesome than the "dome" it would make it look like a scrap tent! After all Solomon built it with his riches designed by God himself. God can outdo anyone. He is an awesome God!

I dont mind the great temple getting rebuilt as long as it is not on the site of anyone else's great temple.

Jerusalem is an interesting city, since there are several holy places for the three important monotaistic religions in a few minutes of walking distance between the cites.
