is the surface (countertop) too cold/slippery for the kitty? maybe it prefers someplace with more cushioning. And maybe you should pet it a little slower and softer since the kitty is so fragile.

@Amanicangel Guess what idiot? This kitten never was in a "warm soft" place. Translate the video, and you will see it was rescued from the streets. And its not gonna die for being on a marble top for a few minuets to shoot a video. God, your one of those people going around on videos calling every little thing, "cruel" and "abusive" if you want people to stop with cruelness why don't you try to stop hunting, or illegal animal skinning, ect? Not comment on a video of a RESCUED KITTEN.

According to the Japanese comments, the kitten was rescued on 16th June, as it was found meowing under a roof in the neighbourhood. It was so young that its eyes were not even open yet.
