Hockey card collecting is a waste of money. If you enjoy it then it's ok if you keep yourself within a budget. However it's definitely not an investment, rather it's a gamble. Problem is, no matter what the BV is, it's really only worth what someone else is willing to pay. Cards that are worth a lot of money are those that had limited production and only one company produced the card. I have a pile of kindling paper upstairs. I have a box of favourites...but the rest are garbage.

Last year you could grab them from Toys r Us, WalMart, and pretty much any local hobby shop or card shop in your community. It was Canada only of course. I would think Upper Deck would stick with the same distributors for 2010.
