Peterson Family: We Need Money for Appeal

The family of convicted killer Scott Peterson wants the public to help fund their son's appeal. Peterson was convicted in 2003 of killing his wife Laci. The Peterson family says it needs nearly $100,000. (July 17)

I lived in Fresno when all this happened,just down the road.Being so close to the action and sharing the same newspaper w/Modesto I read and heard all I could about the case.Scott WAS at the marina where the bodies were located. Laci did not just drown. Besides his folks are supposed to be loaded. They gave Scott $23,000 for a country club membership. I know this appeal costs much more,but, still they shouldn't ask for our money. He is where he belongs!

@ashwadhwani Yes, it absolutely amazes me that this man is on death row, yet Casey Anthony is walking free. The only evidence presented against Scott was that of adultery. We all know that if Scott was an attractive white woman, he wouldn't be behind bars...

Regardless of the 'impression' you have of him, unless you can prove it, you can't even prosecute him for the smallest crime based on A BUNCH OF HUNCHES, thats not justice thats MOB MENTALITY

@CrazySabertooth Yes and any vids of him letting him speak to the jury? I mean is emotion a requirement , especially if you were innocent , had lost a wife and kid and were being incarcerated without PROOF , on a bunch of hunches? I'd lose any emotion and hope they'd execute me, live for what?

If he simply didn't love his wife anymore, if he didn't want her anymore...that is fine. All he had to do was divorce her, and live and let live. That at least would have been honorable. But instead, he murdered her, along with his child. And it's nobody's fault but his own.

Evidence against the Medina burglars:

Numerous credible witness accounts

Robbed the house across the street the morning Laci went missing

Lying about the time of the burglary

Lying about how they transported the items

An incriminating phone call overheard by the prison guard

Girlfriend pawned a watch identical to the one Laci had on when she went missing

Evidence against Scott:

He had an affair

He didn't show much emotion

The bodies were a couple of miles away from where he went fishing. They clearly had to have been disposed of by someone other than Scott. So, why would they end up so close to the area where it had been highly publicized that he went fishing? The only example is an attempt to frame Scott. The killer(s) knew the police thought it was Scott. They knew where he went fishing, so they had a scapegoat. Don't get me started on all of the circumstantial evidence against the Medina burglars...

I love how all of the pro-guilt people completely ignore all of the evidence that shows Laci was alive for at least weeks after her abduction. They completely ignore the fact that the science shows Connor was not dumped in the ocean, but rather placed on the beach. Laci could've spent no more than 14 days in the water. By the police's OWN admission, Scott was accounted for at all times after the disappearance. THAT CLEARS HIM! Being a selfish prick doesn't make him a murderer.
