Blade CX3 MD 520N BNF E-flite Helicopter first flight crash & dance wcolby

This was my first flight with the Blade CX3 I'm using a Spektrum DX7 aircraft radio, so the throttle has ratcheting that makes holding a hover kinda tough. The parking garage is a great place to fly.
Please note the anti collision dance move at the end of the video.

How did you install the light kit ??

E-flite makes the light kit. I think they were about $10. It looked intimidating at first, but I used needle nose pliers to push the leds in to the pre-drilled holes & hooked up the plug to any open channel on the receiver. It took about 5 minutes. I think the lights should be installed as standard equipment. I highly recommend them.

You know you're a dork when you own a Blade CX3 and really like this video. I loved this video!! I love all of the low level hovering and scooting around! Thanks for posting. This heli is awesome. I've had mine for 3 days and my light kit is on order :)

Aww.. walking your heli; but wait it just about walked you! Great job flying and I did feel your pain as it crashed. I have a CX2 with that body and let me tell you, it doesn't "hurt" any more or less! LOL!
