What a fantastic bass player, that Lakland doesn't do perfect impersonations on it's own but it comes damn close. With some EQ adjustments it would be almost spot on.

If you are a hot player, you'll sound great through a Rogue 3 string bass!!! if they had one. :-)
-
@alembicbassguy I agree.. cuts through like you wouldnt believe

Lakland are great basses, period .I had them all..Stingrays are great but are toomuch in your face, jazz basses are everyones perrenial favorites.lakland are great contenders!

People are too partial, which is normal. In a blind tes I'll bet Lakland does them all exactly in tone.
Be open minded, be true! :-)
Laklnad is an exceptional bass! period.

Lakland sounds too sterile comparing to these three basses.

I like those sounds in seperate basses more than all in one Lakland

4:42 starts the real thing!!!

Ok it is simiar with Jazz Bass and Stingray. But with the p-bass it has nothing to do with it.

I think lakland sounds really similar to the jazz bass, but it is very "middy" in comparison with the the P-bass and a little thinner than the Stingray.
However, I love this Lakland bass

Pretty convincing demonstration to be fair. The Lakland has a great tone and range of sounds!
Another bass worth considering for covering these types of sounds is the G&L L2000 - wonderful bass also!
