You're a great player and have nice tone.
But I think you would sound better if you played fewer notes.
-
Do you get a free disposable lighter to hold up with this one? Oh,nice phrasing by the way.
-
You inspire me to practice. Keep up the good work.

Mark:
That soldano sounds better than "Most" of your other videos where you use the Carvin! Hint: lose the carvin Just found your video collection, and have to say "Thank You" for all the great lessons. Very nice. You are definitely one of the better instructor/players on the tube. After listening to about half of them, I can tell that Steve Vai is your idol. You have Vai's playing style simply nailed down, most impressive. Thanks again, I'll be checking back to see what your up to.

Thanks man! :)
I regularly gig the Soldano as it's far easier to carry! But I do also love the Legacy sound, the clean channel itself is sublime :).

WOW, OK, I think I'm sold on the Astroverb head now(w/2x12 greenbacks). It was on my finals list, but I think it's #1 now. Are you plugged straight in? Also, how do you like the cleans?
Great playing too! ;-)

Setup for this was guitar ->CAE Boost->Soldano with its preamp set to 7. So boost was giving me that extra edge :).
It's a single channel amp and 18W so not much headroom there for cleans. Live I tend to run it as I used it for this improv. Control the cleans with vol and pickup selection on guitar. They're not pristine but on single-coils it does the job OK :).
