Roy is a talented player, but this video does not feature Roy. He is strumming an ES335? in the background. This features fiddles and Jimmy Henley's banjo.

When Roy first took up the banjo from what I was hearing I thought he just wasn't cut out for banjo, but surprise surprise. After a few more months he was great! It just shows that really talented people can play any stringed instrument they desire.

Cool! Roy Clark is still underappreciated as a guitar master. I guess heavy set good old boys with heavy southern accents aren't supposed to be brilliant, but he unquestionably is!
