  • @melarry I performed in this musical. I also went on to produce it and i can only say that those who come on here and comment against Josh Groban are people who have NEVER had to sit during auditions and hear 'singers' destroy this song. He has a tremendous range as well as a god given talent and anyone who wishes to dispute that fact should think again. Musical theatre is open to interpretion just like other branches of the arts, It's about time that people consider this!

  • Sorry but Tommy is way better!

  • Search tommy körberg sing anthem and you will find the singer this song truly belongs to... !

  • Look at jai mcdowall

  • And Josh sings this better then Tommy. To me.... In the video I listened to Tommy sounds like he is struggling to hit the high notes. Maybe my ears are not working today though.

  • Okay one he was not flat..... And every singer goes off pitch at lease once. And you sing Opera? So what? I don't see you on youtube? I am a singer too. Also techinique is not a word my dear it's spelled technique. And Linda Eder sings this song amazingly well!

  • @JerBal1983 well, as an operasinger 'I have to say that I actually can sing better! ;)

However, I believe that a singer never can be better than his weakest link, and I heard Tommy Körbergs many times live, even at times when he was ill. I only heard concerts with Josh Groban on you-tube and DVD, but according to my ears he isn´t always as good as his studiorecordings. Tommy Körberg is usually flawless with his techinique. Have a nice day! :)

  • @LETTIS79 sorry but he was pitch perfect on start...he was flat in other places but seriously shut up music snob...you cant do better

  • He is a out of tune on the high G and "where would I START". Too low.

  • im for tommy being the best. but Josh did a great job on this song.

  • I must say that Michael Ball doing this is quite fantastic as well =p Though I have no ill comments towards Josh Groban!

  • I'm sorry Josh but you sound terrible compared to Tommy Körberg.
