  • Its a short nosed bat fish and what your seeing at 2:55 is the opening of its airways, very similar to how when a moray eel gasps and moves air over its gills the water then flows out through an opening behind its head, its the same thing, not its arse! I never knew they did this until they opened in front of me. Bit surprising really and definitely one of the more bizarre fish in the sea, looks like he can't quite work out what he wants to be.

  • Jeez, thanks Ghomtu for sending, never saw that kind of fish before (2:55) and never even heard of it.much still to explore in the Oceans

  • Hey Dan thx for the hints, its areal curious creature! ;-) Still good luck finding more of these, maybe some unexplored with giving your name later on. ;-)

  • What is this? Timeindex 2:55-3:03?

Are there 2 different species or is that one and the same? At time 3:01 it looks like a Turtle, but they have to breath air and no need for that what you see in 2:55.

    So what is it?
