Submission To Love - Chapter One/Part 2 (a Jonas story)

-They all walk up to Dulce's house, each one of them
carrying a rose in their hand. Kevin holding a pink rose, Joe holding
a red rose, and Nick holding a white rose. Joe rung the door bell and Selena answered.
Joe, thinking that Selena was Dulce, nervously handed her the rose. JOE. Whoa -he said under his breath.

-Selena giggles and blushes while handing him back the rose.

SELENA. Oh, i'm not your date. My sister is.

-Joe feeling so stupid, just smiles.

JOE. Oh, well it's ok you can keep it.
-This time Selena really blushes and turns a bright tomato red. Just at that time Dulce
runs up to the door.
SELENA. Perfect timing.
KEVIN. Hi, nice to meet you! Dulce right?- Hugs Dulce.
DULCE. Yeah, but you can call me Laila -She is so much in shock that she's barely able
to hug back.
-Nick, standing there in a complete daze, says her name over and over to himself.
JOE. Hey, wuts up. - Hugs Dulce.
DULCE. I'm doing good. - Dulce is getting dizzy from how close Joe is. She sees Nick
approaching and goes completely pale.
NICK. Hey, you look familiar. Are you okay? -Steals a quick hug from Dulce.
DULCE. Oh yeah i'm fine, just a little nervous is all. -Blushes.
JOE. Awkward.
KEVIN. So these are for you. -Kevin changes the subject.
JOE. Mine was red but I kinda gave it to your sister, sorry.
DULCE. It's ok.
-Dulce quickly looks at her sister, who is admiring the red rose.
Nick hands Dulce his rose. She looks at him and then the rose.
DULCE. I love white roses.
-Kevin clears his throat, calling attention to his rose.
DULCE. And yours is very beautiful too.
KEVIN. Well thank you :)
JOE. Well, we should get going.
KEVIN. Yeah are you ready?
DULCE. Yeah, bye Selena!
JOE. Yeah bye Selena.
-Selena blushes AGAIN.
SELENA. Bye you guys. Have fun!
Selena closes the door. She starts to laugh at herself.
SELENA. OMG, I'm such a dork!
-In the Jonas car to Lucky Strike.
KEVIN. So how old are you?
DULCE. I'm 17.
JOE. Hey just like nick.

-Dulce looks at Nick, who is blushing a little.

DULCE. Yeah, I guess so.
JOE. Hey, how old is your sister?
DULCE. Oh, she's 19.
NICK. Hey just like Joe!

-Joe is equally embarassed.

-They arrive at Lucky Strike, get their lane and start the game.

KEVIN. Cool, let's get a game started.
JOE. Okay but i'll have to warn you, i got mad bowling skillz.




-Rolls the ball down the lane, but it heads directly into the left
gutter. He tries again but only knocks down one pin.
NICK. Wow. - Giggles.
JOE. Uh, i just need to brush up on the talent, ya know, practice a
little, get in the zone.
KEVIN. That's enough Joe.
JOE. Okay show me what you got!
KEVIN. Oh it's on!

-Kevin goes but only hits 3 pins in all.

KEVIN. Shoot!
NICK. Step aside, let a pro show you how its really done. -Rolls
the ball right down the center of the lane and knocks down all the
pins. He turns around to Dulce.
NICK. Your turn. -He turns to Dulce and smiles.
DULCE. ok. - Nick's smile makes Dulce melt. She nervoulsy grabs a
ball, half drops it down the lane and hits 8 pins. Dulce aims for the
last two and knocks them down.
NICK. Nice.
DULCE. Thankyou. -Dulce manages to say.

-Dulce ends the game with a strike, having the highest bowling scores
out of all the Jonas Brothers, even Nick. She tells them how she's
going to move to L.A. but leaves out the fact that she's going to have a TV show.
They start another game but
Kevin gets a call that their plane is
comming in early, so they have to leave. They rush to get Dulce home so
they can catch their flight. They pull up to her house.

KEVIN. Nick, why don't you walk her up to the door. Joe and I will wait
in the car.
JOE. We will? -He says disappointed, wanting to see Selena again.
KEVIN. Yes we will.

-Nick walks her up to the door.

NICK. You were really great tonight. -Nick is fidgetting a little
with whatever is in his pocket.
DULCE. You were pretty great yourself.
NICK. Thanks, I was just wondering(at that time joe impatiently honks
the car horn )i have to go now but maybe i could call you?
DULCE. I'd like that. -Dulce gives him her number, trying not to
sound so eager.

-Joe and Kevin walk up figuring that it wouldn't kill them
to properly say goodbye to their date.

JOE. It was nice hanging out with you, Laila. But enjoy your
victory now, because one of these days I WILL beat you. -Joe laughs
and gives Dulce a hug.
KEVIN. I second that. ha ha ha. Too bad we had to leave so soon.
-Kevin hugs Dulce and leaves with Joe.
NICK. So i'll call you.
DULCE. I'll be waiting. -Nick gives her a hug, Dulce takes in his warm
scent and smiles as he walks back to the car and she walks inside the
house.
