@carlosmnic if i understand your question correctly, then the little "jumps" you see them doin is them pumping through the water to keep teh board afloat better. another technique you will see peopel do hwen they go very deep is almost squat low and turn the baord sideways, this cuts the back drag and the board practically skips across the watter.
