I am a Twin Peaks fan, but not a David Lynch fan. Figure that one out.

This brief moment from the Twin Peaks movie FIRE WALK WITH ME is one of the reasons that people look at his work and just can't wrap their heads around it.

What annoys me are the people who hate Lynch films because they think the movies try to be intellectual.

And the thing about "understanding it" yes, I guess there are some fanboy idiots who use that line, but getting upset by that line is stupid also.

In the end there is nothing more to understand in Lynch's or any other movie than what you understand. Like or not, just live with it.

I liked this movie very much, but Lynch is definitely not for everyone.

It is very strange because I am a very big fan, but I could not watch his latest movie.

But Lynch and Kubrick are my favorite directors. I could sit down, watch and enjoy most any movie at any time.

Horrible scene. What annoys me more than the actual Lynch movies, are the Lynch fans; arguing with one is a veritable descent into the depths of pretentiousness. Apparently if you dislike a Lynch film you simply "don't understand it". The obnoxious fanboy comments are to be expected.
