Some of the 5,000 protesters marching through downtown Toronto briefly occupy the major intersection of Queen St./Spadina Ave. Protesters were marching in defense of civil liberties after myriad violations committed by the 19,000-strong "security" force deployed during the G20. The demonstration called for nothing less than a public inquiry into both the actions of the police and the chain of command which ordered them to stand back and let black bloc vandals damage property, and then attack peaceful protesters.
