@selfsilent i have tried this,but it dosent work. can you tell me what pins are used, i have been told i have to short out two pins to act like there is a cd/changer there. i think its pin 13 and 15. thanks

press the 'CD' or 'CC/CD button (depending
on model), the display should then show either AUX or NO COMMU (depending on model).
Ramp the volume up on your MP3 player and adjust the main
volume on the stereo and you should be hearing your MP3 tunes.

Hi,
To remove the stereo and trade for a new one do one need to switch the car battery off (remove the battery cables)?

@Marco7Pelado I never bother to disconnect the battery, just keep the ignition off as you change the stereo.

I have a Becker Sat Nav in my 450 Smart car. How can I remove it? I can't see any holes voor stereo removal tools and I don't have removal tools either.

@HI0854 - You can't see any holes huh! lol
What about just below the SC button on the left and the NAV button on the right.
Then you need a set of Mercedes stereo removal keys.
Go to eBay and do a search for 140368347039
