@ThePlainzryder - you can sample this track at its proper speed on amazon by looking up the 2007 2-fer -
"The End Of The World/The Wonderful World of Julie London"
this particular version of "I'm Coming Back to You" is taken from a European album from the mid-late '90s titled "Swing Me an Old Song" that featured some of Julie's Hits. A number of the tracks are played at about 1/4 of their proper speed.

@ThePlainzryder you're wrong. The original album & ''45 does not say 2:35,which doesn't account for almost 10 seconds of dead air at the beginning of this clip. The time is 2:21. I have the original record of "The Wonderful World of Julie London" (from where this song is taken) as well as the 2007 & 2010 CD releases of it. Julie was a heavy smoker yes, but she never soundes remotely like this even up to her last album. The speed of the song has been tampered with.

I think you need to check out the time on the record. 2:35 is bang on! She was a heavy smoker, that's where the voice came from.
-
@nosenipples - it sounds "mannish" because the track is being played at the wrong speed - its dragging like dying batteries in an old-school Walkman. One can easily find this track in its proper speed. The uploader needs to take this shit down.
