The best way to lock up your pistol but still keep it readily available.

Check them out on amazon they are between $30-$60 - they are NOT a safe but more of a lock box, an extra added barrier of protection.

  • I have one, however its been in storage for years. i know the default code but it doesnt work. I think i changed it but not sure... Any suggestions?

  • be a good idea to hide it where noone knows where it is and then bolt it to the wall,,I have the Cannon Safe thats shoulder high about the size of a refrigerator and will hold many rifles and shotguns and pistols and also shell boxs and several shelves to store gun items and I have it bolted to the wall with (2 ) 3/4 inch bolts and the nuts are on the the inside of the safe so they cant be screwed off,,buy you one and you'll be glad I promise,,seems mine was about 500 cucks 15 years ago.

  • @MrGrimeyassnigga

people fail to understand the cheap is cheap. and expensive is expensive for a reason.

  • I prefer a mechanical simplex lock over anything electronic, they are much more reliable but more expensive. this safe has 21 gauge steel. Weak in compared to 10 gauge (.1406 inches) of lock safe and Fort knox. 21 gauge is .034 which is about 1/4 the thickness of 10 gauge which is high end. medium grade safes like gunvault and winchester are 16 gauge ( .0625). it is most likely cheaper due to there being less steal.

  • @Pinstripedtie they can be hacked easier

  • that shit sucks big time not fast at all plus its noisey

  • I heard the electronics short easy. Bad craftsmanship? But, if it had key backup entry I would order one right now.

    I'm considering the GunVault mini..
