Komisch..tschechische Melodie vom tschechischen Komponisten, deutsch gesungen und noch in Dresden, wo Elbe flüßt und keine Moldau.

Ich steh normal nicht auf diese Musik, aber wie Emmerlich diese wunderbare Melodie singt und einen meines erachtens wertvollen Text darauf setzt ist einfach wunderbar.

Die Kritiker hier könnten ruhig mal ein paar mehr Worte schreiben als "grausam".

Es war alles andere als das und verschandelt ist das Lied schonmal garnicht.

Ja das stimmt, aber du solltest wissen das die Elbe eigentlich jetzt Moldau heißen,die heisst aber heute Elbe weil die Politiker im Mittelalter von den Fürsten die an der Elbe lebten bestochen wurden.

This melody was composed to glorify czech countryside, to awake czech nation and enrich czech culture in their struggle with germanization. And here he sings it in german, what an irony!

Not really, the Moldau mouths into the Elbe (which is actually the last part of Smetana's piece), but this is before the stream passes the frontier

Má Vlast is one of my favourite pieces ever and yes Vltava is truly beautiful with its natural sound really makes you almost feel the river. But what this dude does, with his deep low voice (great voice tho) is making the piece really assymetrical.

And also the video is a joke, the guy is standing stiff like a saltbag and some people in tuxedo and dress are waltzing behind him... how cheap

Is the same river. in Czech Rep. is named Vltava (Moldau) and when the river cross in Germany they name him Elbe but is the same water.
