these are fantastic! i wouldnt agree that apart from patrick the saints were all tuath de dannan though. columba, columbanas, brendan, fintan etc. these were all historical figures
When I last visited Ireland in 08 I couldn't believe the changes that had taken place. Many of the people I spoke with were either athiests or believed in god but not the church. It was quite interesting. I also noticed a strong Pagan renewal especially among the younger people and much the the consternation of the church I may add. Irish history and traditions are so beautifully rich in folklore and I hope it survives these trying times.
