This is a short video describing how to replace an old A/C blower motor without climate control on a 2001 Dodge Ram 1500 truck with manual controls. This may apply to models up to 1994 and 2002. The fan speeds on this 2001 Dodge Ram 1500 truck became sluggish and ran very slow on all speeds, and at times, did not run at all. (the next day it would work) There are three 8mm screws that attach the blower motor to the intake box. Be sure to use a mini ratchet to remove the screw closest to the firewall. Removing the glove box allows you to slide the wire connector up to detached the electrical blower connector from the fan. It just makes it easier to remove the wire from the motor, all you have to do is just push the wire connector up slight to clear it from the intake box, and this will make it easier to to detach the connector by granting you better access to press on the clip to disconnect the wires, to remove the motor.

The fan will look dirty and it may have leaves. Try to clean it the best you can before re-attaching and avoid resistance to the new motor.. Than fan blade (is round) is held on by a spring clip and it can be removed by using a needle nose pliers or a small lock pliers. Be careful when removing this clip, because it can literally fly off, because of the pressure.
